On Friday, May 6, 2022, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. mostly graduating seniors will display and exhibit their art, designs, ideas, and glory throughout the Applied Arts building and Micheels Hall.

5:00 p.m. | "Donor Acknowledgements" for the Digital Process Lab, APPA 119 |
5:00 p.m. | Noah Norton Portfolio Prize announced, APPA 216 |
5:30 p.m. | Best of Design Awards announced MICH Atrium in front of the Furlong Gallery |
5:45 p.m. | Student-Artist-in-Residency Awards announced, MICH Atrium in front of the Furlong Gallery |
6:00 p.m. | Entertainment Design and Video Production screening of projects, APPA 210 |
6:00 - 9:00 p.m. | Senior Show Exhibitions, Applied Arts building and Micheels Hall |
On-Campus Exhibits
There will be art and design work displayed throughout the Applied Arts and Micheels Hall. There will also be art in Applied Arts rooms: 121, 120A, 202, 205, and 234.
Entertainment Design (Animation and Comics)
Work will premiere at 6:00 p.m. in Applied Arts 210 on the biggest screen on campus! Capstone work from B.S. Video Production students will also be featured; an encore screening will occur at 7:30. Meet the creators from 7:15 - 9:00 p.m. at their exhibits in Micheels Hall 184.
Game Design & Development
Play games and meet the creators (both artists and programmers) from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at their exhibits in Micheels Hall 184.
Graphic Design and Interactive Media
In Applied Arts room 221E, senior GDIM majors will be presenting their projects based on the GDIM capstone course.
Industrial Design
In Applied Arts rooms 216 and 217, senior Industrial Design majors will be presenting their projects based on the Industrial Design capstone course.
Interior Design
The Interior Design Senior Show will be in room 220. Furniture design will be in room 219, and lighting design will be in room 217.
Studio Art
In Applied Arts Gallery 209 is Aesthetics in the Studio exhibition. This show is based on a wide variety of media within the Studio Art program from comics to sculpture to photography.
Furlong Gallery
Furlong Gallery will be hosting The Best of Design pieces and Student Artist in Residency that goes from 5-9pm. There will be light refreshments served in the atrium in front of the gallery. There will be announcements for the two winners of next year's Student Artist in Residency.
