Rachel is responsible for managing and creating content for UW-Stout’s six flagship social media accounts with a student team of three. Through the accounts, she provides customer service to all that publicly and privately message the university. She oversees the campus-wide social media strategy that aims to increase enrollment and brand affinity. She also fills the shoes of the campus social media consultant, helping social media managers with strategy, implementation, brainstorming, and maintaining brand standards.
Rachel attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout for her undergraduate degree. She received her Bachelor of Science in Professional Communication & Emerging Media with a concentration in Applied Journalism. She began working at UW-Stout Communications in May 2017 and transitioned to Marketing Communications in February 2020.
